Prelude in A minor – EVS in Vienna

with 2 comments

A film about Vienna and its people seen through the eyes of a few more or less permanent visitors. A blend of images (or the voice of the city), music (the beautiful sound of Luca Melis) and voices (interviews with young Europeans who, after participating in the European Voluntary Service programme, decided to stay in Vienna for a bit longer – each for different reasons…).

  1. so interesting. i always wondered how it would feel like to live abroad for a longer time – i travel a lot, but that’s different. great questions and answers. and Vienna itself, i visited the city last year, and enjoyed the glimpses you included in the video – the metro, the rain street, the trees. .

  2. I really enjoyed this film. I only visited Vienna for a few days a few years ago so I don’t know much about the city. It was interesting to hear the ‘foreigners’ describe it nonetheless. Living abroad must have a deep impact on a person. My longest stay abroad was a month in Australia so I can’t really imagine what it’s like to leave your home for several years. Thanks for sharing this.
