In search of lost time

Do we write to be read? Do we write for therapeutical reasons? Is writing time well spent or time wasted? How much of our life is ‘spent’ in the net? Will a part of me continue to live there when I die? And why should it matter?

Here you’ll find all those things I want to share with you. With those of you I know and those I don’t. Films, thoughts, photos, stories. Because stories make the world go round, right?

Time is one of my biggest concerns. Right, there’s always not enough time for all the things you want to do. But I feel it’s getting less and it’s not because I am getting older. Every day defines all your life until today and that’s an unbearable burden to carry. You take this or that decision and all your previous acts are ‘read’ through this light. And the reader is you, how ironic. You break up and all those shady moments of your relationship take bigger dimensions in your eyes, you decide to get married and all those ‘difficulties’ are now steps that helped you get better. Something tragic happens and all the bad moments shade away from your memory. We understand ourselves a posteriori. That is if we understand ourselves at all. But the show must go on, there is no time.
